The Media Theatre Empowerment Program has been operational since 1994. Since its inception, and with the support of multiple grants and corporate funding, the Empowerment Program has served over 20,000 students by encouraging arts-rich education and serving the needs of children in surrounding areas who are at an economic disadvantage.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW....
The objective of the Media Theatre Empowerment Program is to encourage an arts-rich education, serving the needs of the children in surrounding areas such as Chester and Delaware Counties, especially those who are economically disadvantaged. Students of all backgrounds and demographics are provided a unique educational opportunity through the Empowerment Program without any financial burden. Due to its success thus far, The Media Theatre is expanding the Empowerment Program, offering scholarship opportunities to students attending Media Theatre’s Acting Classes and summer music theatre Camps.
The Media Theatre Empowerment Program is an outreach program that provides funded tickets for students in grades K-12 to see a live theatrical Broadway-style production. This provides theatre tickets to students attending area public schools. In addition, participating schools are offered the opportunity to attend a post-show theatre workshop. Workshops are held in the Media Theatre’s Crystal Room, integrating the audience and actors. Students may bring their lunches to the theatre and enjoy meeting the professional actors and crew, learning about what goes on behind the scenes when producing a show. Media Theatre would also offer schools participating in the Empowerment Program the option to have an onsite visit from a theatre professional prior to the show date.
The Media Theatre Empowerment Program allows us to develop strong relationships with more schools of need in our surrounding communities. Through free programming, we can continue this initiative to promote unique educational opportunities among the youth in our communities. The Media Theatre believes that musical theatre education can be used as a tool, teaching young people the importance of responsibility, teamwork and imagination.

I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
ReplyDeleteliver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
