BLOG POSTINGS TO BE MORE DAILY JOURNALS ABOUT LIFE AT MEDIA THEATRE, LESS 'SIMPLY PRESS'

As we move gain speed moving into our upcoming 2015-16 Broadway Series season, and with this summer's programming, the blog postings you will begin to see will feature more 'daily journals' about life at The Media Theatre within Media Music Theatre Company.

The press releases will also continue, but perhaps with a different angle than those that appear on other media outlets.

The purpose of the Media Theatre News Blog will remain the same--To inform and inspire you regarding the great work and talent on view here at the theatre. And to allow you to know how important it is that you continue to support, to assist this wonderful not-for-profit 'cultural anchor of Delaware County'--which is what the New York Daily News has referred to us as.

We will also begin to feature daily journals from our students, actors, staff members, guest participants, etc. so that you, dear readers, gain more insight to Media Music Theatre Company.

We now have over 150,000 individual readers who have become a part of Media Theatre News, and we look forward to gaining 150,000 more as we move forward into being exactly what you want us to be: The Most Informative Media Theatre News, with information it's hard to find anywhere else.

Today, for instance, on Monday July 6, 2015...Most likely it's news to you that we booked a large group for the upcoming "1776" musical (April/ May) and a large student group for the holiday children's show "Jack Frost" (December).

Most of you are not aware that we had 60 happy campers at the theatre today, singing Broadway songs, learning original choreography, and rehearsing the scenes which they themselves have written as they prepare for the Friday night Camp performance! But...yes! It's true!

Not to mention a terrific tech rehearsal for "The Who's Tommy" tonight, with a talented cast of teens and adults. With an awesome live band on stage, projections on a big screen, and direction from Broadway World winner Jesse Cline, the show promises to be a smash hit! Did you get your tickets yet? It opens Friday July 10.

So...this is where we are headed. More personal, unique information for YOU on MEDIA THEATRE NEWS. You can't find this anywhere else.
Call us at 610-891-0100 or visit mediatheatre.org anytime; if we are not open, we will call you back as soon as we are able.
