PATRICK LUDT IS GOMEZ FOR FINAL WEEK OF 'ADDAMS FAMILY'
The hit musical comedy "The Addams Family" is in its final week at The Media Theatre. The Delaware County regional professional premiere has Patrick Ludt stepping into the role of Gomez for its final 7 performances.
Patrick Ludt is a familiar actor to Media Theatre audiences who have enjoyed his performances as Roger in "Rent" and the titular roles in "Jekyll and Hyde: The Musical". Last season he was seen in the humorous "Spamalot" and the acclaimed production of "Sunset Boulevard".
Others in the cast are Jennie Eisenhower as Morticia, Lauren Cupples as Wednesday, Nicholas Saverine as Uncle Fester, and Susan Wefel as Grandmama. The role of Pugsley is shared by Andrew Rubin and JD Triolo. Krissy Fraelich and Paul Weagraff portray the parents of the young man (Jake Glassman) Wednesday is infatuated with. The tall Lurch is played by sportscaster and actor Bill Vargus.
"The Addams Family" is based on Charles Addams' cartoon strip which inspired the '60's sitcom. A humorous treat for Halloween, the show features a score with songs such as "Pulled", "One Normal Night", and "Full Disclosure".
The final week schedule with Patrick Ludt as Gomez is Wednesday Oct. 29 at 2pm and 7:30pm; Thursday Oct. 30 at 7:30pm; Friday Oct. 31 at 8pm; Saturday at 2pm and 8pm; and Sunday at 3pm. Call 610-891-0100 for tickets or visit mediatheatre.org
