MEDIA THEATRE RECEIVES 33 BROADWAY WORLD 'BEST OF 2013' PHILLY THEATRE NOMINATIONS
Delaware County's only professional music theatre had one of its most critically acclaimed eras during the past few months (the eligibility period is from October 2012 through September 2013).

The Media Theatre's 2013 nominations include 12 for "Mame", its co-production with Bucks County Playhouse. Its recent "Spamalot" received a total of 10 nominations, while "Dr. Dolittle" is on the docket with 3 and "Forever Plaid" has a chance at taking 2 honors.

Tony nominated actress Ann Crumb has two nominations under her belt: Supporting Actress in A Musical for "Spamalot" and Special Event for "In The Men's Room" in which she performed songs made famous by legendary actors and spoke of her experiences working with recognizable directors and actors.

The Media Theatre's current production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" starring Emmy nominee Kyle Lowder runs through January 5. Lowder received recognition on daytime television's "The Bold and The Beautiful" and "Days of Our Lives" and is now focusing on a stage career.
