“Diary of Anne Frank” is the Tony winning play (an updated adaptation from 1997) in which The Frank Family hides from the Nazis in war-torn Amsterdam. In a warehouse attic for two years, they are joined by four other people while Anne Frank records the account in her diary, bringing to vivid life the trials and tribulations of trying to lead a normal life in a cramped environment while under constant threat of being discovered. Ultimately inspiring due to its fact-based message of hope amidst fear, this is one of the most beloved plays of all-time.

Seeking the following roles: Otto Frank, 40-50 years old who is Anne’s polite and practical father; Edith Frank: 40 to 50, she Anne’s reserved and nervous mother.
Also seeking Margot Frank, who should appear to be 15 to 17 and is Anne’s older sister. She is quiet, modest, and reserved: the complete opposite of Anne.

Anne Frank should appear to be 13 to 15 years old. Anne is a lively, curious girl who remains optimistic throughout the months they are in hiding. She is very introspective and creative and has a vivid imagination.

Peter Van Daan should appear to be 14  to 16. Peter is a shy, quiet teenager. He soon becomes a friend and confidant for Anne.

Rounding out the cast are Jan Dussell: 40-60, Difficult to get along with, he joins the Franks and the Van Daans after they have been in hiding about two months; Miep: 20-30, very well-liked, generous secretary in Mr. Frank’s office, she helps to protect the families in hiding; and Mr. Kraler: 25-40, A businessman who works with Miep to help protect the people in hiding.
