She's only 10 years old but has quite a list of accomplishments on the stage! Elaina Fitzgerald, 10, of Wallingford is also (along with Theodora Greco) playing the iconic role of Dorothy in The Media Theatre's youth edition of "The Wizard of OZ". She'll add this show to her lengthy list of credits.

A student of The Media Theatre's New School -a conservatory style educational approach to music theatre-Elaina has appeared on Media's stage several times. This past season she was seen as Pork Chop in "Adventures of Three Little Pigs" and as Alison in "Pinkalicious, The Musical".

She did not stop there! Audiences also enjoyed her in Disney's "101 Dalmatians". She also placed in the Top Five of 2013's "Vocalist Junior" contest, performing legendary songs from shows such as "Annie Get Your Gun".

To see Elaina Fitzgerald and the rest of the youthful cast in "The Wizard of OZ" at The Media Theatre, call 610-891-0100 or visit mediatheatre.org. It's on Saturday mornings at 11am and Sundays at Noon October 5 to November 17.

It's based on the classic 1939 film with the songs you know and love such as "Over the Rainbow". Audiences are invited to come dressed as their favorite characters from the show and to sing along with all of the Munchkins.

The show features two local adult actors as well--
